The Democratic Establishment needs to stop thinking of electoral politics as a game where changing tactical approaches can bring the same unpopular policy prescriptions to victory. To be frank, you can't put lipstick on a pig. The current Democratic Establishment is not aligned with its existing voter base on many critical issues (ex. Palestine).

The age of installing a well-polished consultant class candidate like Obama to do the bidding of oligarch Bloomberg Centrists is over. Democrats need to listen to their voters and think less in tactics. Change the POLICIES.

I recommend this video. I think they convey my feelings in a far more coherent way.
